About This Work...

I didn’t choose this work because I had it all figured out.

I chose it because heartbreak changed me.

Not in a dramatic, cinematic way —
but in the quiet, unraveling way.

The kind where you still show up to work, still function, still smile…
but inside, you’re questioning everything.

I wanted to understand why smart, capable, intuitive women — women who know better — still lose themselves in love.

Why we override red flags.
Why we shrink.
Why we chase intensity.
Why we abandon our own clarity.

And most of all — how to stop.

So I studied it.

Attachment. Trauma. The nervous system. Emotional regulation.

I looked at my own patterns with uncomfortable honesty.
I rebuilt from the inside out.

What I discovered was this:

Heartbreak isn’t just about the person who left.
It’s about the patterns that were activated.

And those patterns can be understood.
Regulated.
Rewired.

That realization changed my life.

Coaching became the space where everything I had lived and everything I had learned came together — my background in counseling, my training in trauma-informed work, my spiritual grounding, and my lived experience of rebuilding myself slowly and intentionally.

I don’t believe in “just move on.”
I believe in understanding what happened inside you.

I don’t believe in “get over him.”

I believe in calming your nervous system so you can think clearly again.

I don’t believe in starting over.
I believe in becoming the woman who no longer abandons herself.

Women don’t need clichés.

They need language for what they’re feeling.
They need tools that actually work.
They need safety in their own bodies again.
They need self-trust.

That’s the work I love.

Helping women rise from heartbreak — not hardened, not closed off —but grounded, discerning, and deeply connected to themselves.

You don’t have to rebuild alone — support is here.

If you’re navigating heartbreak, confusion, or the slow work of rebuilding your identity, you deserve a space that feels steady, compassionate, and grounded. I offer a free 20‑minute consult call — a gentle, no‑pressure conversation where you can exhale, share what you’re carrying, and explore what support might look like for you.

This is your space to feel seen, heard, and supported — not rushed or judged. If your heart feels a nudge, you can book your call below. I’d be honored to walk with you.

My Story

I’m Mary, and my work was born in the quiet places — the places where heartbreak breaks you open, where your confidence slips through your fingers, and where you suddenly realize you don’t recognize the woman staring back at you.

For years, I was the one everyone came to for support. I earned my Master’s in School Counseling, spent my days helping students navigate emotions and learning challenges, and trained as a dyslexia therapist, studying how the brain rewires and heals. I believed deeply in people’s capacity to grow.

But no degree prepared me for the heartbreak that cracked me open.

I found myself living the very patterns I had helped others name — the self‑doubt, the overthinking, the loss of intuition, the fear of repeating what hurt me. It was disorienting. Humbling. Holy. And it sent me searching for answers that went deeper than “move on” or “just let it go.”

That season became a turning point. I dove into trauma, the nervous system, attachment, and the spiritual work of rebuilding from the inside out. I learned that the brain is not fixed — it is rewritable. Patterns can change. Safety can be restored. And with the right support, women can learn to trust themselves again.

As I healed, something clicked:
We teach academics, but we don’t teach emotional safety.
We teach achievement, but not self‑trust.
We teach behavior, but not boundaries, intuition, or healthy love.

So I stepped into the work I do now — guiding women through heartbreak in a way that honors their nervous system, their story, and their faith.

Today, as I pursue my Doctorate in Community Care & Counseling with a focus in Traumatology, I bring together research, brain‑rewiring, lived experience, and Master Certified Life Coach training to help women heal in a way that feels safe, grounded, and deeply human.

My coaching is warm, honest, and steady.

I help women feel safe in their bodies again.
I help them hear their intuition again.
I help them break old patterns with clarity and courage.
I help them become the woman who chooses well.

Whether through coaching, workshops, or my podcast Healing After Heartbreak, my mission is simple: to create a safe, sacred space for women to heal deeply, rise gently, and return to themselves fully.

You’re not starting over.
You’re becoming someone new.
And I’m honored to walk with you as you do.
